my main character is titus, because it could be exting to see it from his veiwpoint, and how he deid and how longe time he survived, and what he see in the blizzard.
my narrator with be a first person narrator.
titus go out in the blizzard to die, because he knows that he will deid in short time, and he will not overload the group, he rather die with honour in just lieing they and suffer, and his last thoughts was about his mother, and the language, will be a first perrson narragetor, and it will be brits english.

The letter is much less personal than the diary. Where the diary is humorous, the letter is solemn and dignified.
In the letter, it is very important how people are remembered, in the diary he just writes his thoughts. Ultimately, it differs from the diary both in wording and content.

Oates is the main character and we follow him in a first person narrator, in a way that gives us a look into his head when he realizes what's going to happen and what he has to do.
It might be interesting to get a better idea of the discussions they have in the camp, when they discuss dying etc.

Ideas, thoughts and ramblings for a short story

I would have my main character be Titus Oates. The man who left the others to walk to his death in the snow, knowing that if he didn't, he would be the doom of them all.

I would chose a first person narrator, with plenty of inner monologues and rambling thoughts. I would have him be an all-knowing narrator, as I mean to make him an invisible spirit of sorts, following the expedition and ultimately knowing their fate.

It should be told in retrospective, as Titus telling a story about what happened a long time ago.

I need to remember what actually happened and what they thought about it. I should also try to emulate their way of speech as best I can, in order to make a credible reimagining of the events.

Death and Moral

The explores have quite a non-caring attitude towards death, they are aware of that a companion of theirs is going to die, they observe him as he gets weaker but they keep going anyway. They know they have to do everything they can to stay alive, but yet it seems from Scott's writing that they've always known they might die; it's just part of the deal.
Scott writes about Oates' suicide like it's nothing, it seems it isn't something they have any kind of moral problem with, he dies, that's it. All they hope is that they can meet death bravely.

Scott's main concern at the very end

So far all odds have been against them; Freezing weather that never reached above -18 degrees, snowblizzards, their ponies died and their machinery broke down leaving them to continue on foot with very little food.

Scott did not think they could hope for better conditions any time soon. He believed they would stick to the end, weak or not, knowing that the end wasn't far away.

His main concern where that they wouldn't make it back home alive.

6) Describe Oates’ death on March 16.-17. What were his last thoughts? How did he announce what he intended to do? Why did the others not stop him or go after him?

two days befor the 16-17 march, titus otaes have a lot of problems to keep up with the group and the 15 march he said to the group, they should leave him in his sleeping back, but the group coulden leave him behind, but the group induced him to go on, he struggeled a lot to keep up with the group, and in the atfernoon we know that the end of titus has come. His laste thoughts was about his mother, but he was not giving up yet, the next morning he get up the next morning and he just start to work, but when the blizzard worsened, and titus said he will go out in the blizzard in some time, but he never come back from the blizzard. they didn`t stop him because they think he will die with his honour, and the group repect his choices, that he will go out to the blizzard to die, a reason to they let him go chould be  because they dont have enought food to stay with him.
